Welcome to KC Things Bibliography

Multiple resources were used to compile the information pertaining to the pottery being sold on this site. We cannot emphasize enough, the value of the resources given below, in your quest for acquiring or collecting pottery. We have provided information specific to the lines and each piece, but there are more details, as well as, experimental forms and glazes that exist for many of the lines for each pottery company. We urge you to utilize the references outlined below to learn as much as you can about the Pottery of your choice.

Most libraries have a reference book section with some of these books available. Some can be purchased from your local book stores, the national book store chains and/or on the internet. Some of these books are out of print and as a result, in some cases, expensive. Keep an eye on E-bay and other auction sites. They sometimes sell for a lower price than you can find on Amazon or other specialty book sites.

One must also remember, that the information compiled in each book was based upon the best information the researchers were able to obtain at the time. In some cases, discrepancies exist between the books. However, it is only the emergence of more information and/or a different research methodology and set of assumptions, that created these discrepancies.
