Weller: Blue Drapery
Blue Drapery - Middle Period - Introduced in 1915
Aptly named due to the ruffled matte finish background, very much like the folds of hanging drapes. The color can either be a solid dark blue or a somewhat lighter dark blue. Some lighter dark blue forms are accented with a charcoal in the folds. They are adorned with sparing accents of small pink flowers and green leaves.
The rims are smooth.
The forms of this line are either unmarked or marked with the die impressed "Weller".
More in-depth detail is available in any one of the books in the Bibliography.
